The series has grown from the grass roots of the offshore oil industry, supported by people who have seen first hand fatalities, near misses and accidents causing downtime during their careers in the oil patch.
The concept and vision of these universally understood, non-language specific,
humorous safety awareness programs directly for the offshore has
been in development since November 2003.
Oil companies will gain from Go Home Safe a fresh approach to presenting
current and relevant issues of safety awareness to an ever-increasing
number of new people being employed offshore.
They will also enjoy:
State of the art, cutting edge 3D animated scenarios, which can be personalized/branded with a company and rig logo.
An injection of humour to the serious endeavors of safety training for all personnel, to make the messages more appealing, and STICK.
Injection of safety awareness at the grass root level of the industry, to help prevent unreported/reported near misses and accidents.
A cost-effective tool to support and enhance already-established safety programs.
A comprehensive list of relevant subject scenarios to be produced as universal language-free animations that are easy to watch and absorb.
A first class visual library of safety resources on a rig or platform.
Once the scenario is licensed to a facility it becomes an asset of that facility, serving the present and future generations of offshore workers.
